Please read our Terms & Conditions carefully before making any purchase. Any product sale with Lighting Network Mackay, whether it be in store or online is governed by our Terms & Conditions. Your agreement to purchase with Lighting Network Mackay is your automatic acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
Availability & Dispatch
Under normal circumstances, orders are processed and dispatched within 1 – 7 business days. Whilst all care is taken to ensure stock levels are correct on the website at the time of purchase, occasionally we may have run out of an item. If this is the case we will notify you ASAP and provide options (wait for more stock, swap for another model, cancel order etc).
We offer fast shipping to most locations around Australia using Australia Post & other couriers where applicable. Certain regional locations are not available in this service. Freight is calculated at checkout based on your order dimensions. Once your order has been placed and assessed by our staff, we will notify you if there is an issue with sending your order. If for any reason, we cannot deliver your order to the supplied address, we will notify you straight away and provide options such as delivery to an alternate address or Parcel Connect agent or a full refund.
Please ensure a physical address, phone number and name of recipient is clearly stated. If you are not available to receive delivery of parcels, the freight company will leave a calling card with instructions. For security reasons, Lighting Network Mackay requires the receiver to sign for all goods. Lighting Network Mackay will not pay for any further delivery charges.
Whilst all care is taken regarding packaging all breakages during transit are covered by the terms and conditions of the courier. Any missing or lost parcels are also the responsibility of the courier. Lost or damaged goods do not constitute a refund from Lighting Network Mackay, nor will we accept a return of same. All goods are inspected for damage or breakages prior to dispatch. Please inspect goods before accepting delivery and signing. Lighting network Mackay accepts no liability for goods in transit once goods are accepted and signed for.
Please note we cannot send orders to PO boxes. We require a full physical address at checkout.

To order online and collect from our store and not pay a delivery fee, simply follow the same steps as if ordering for delivery but at the Review & Payment Section Tick “Local Pickup”. This service is only available to customers in the Mackay & surrounding areas who are able to drive to our store and collect. We will not ship to any address included with the order if this option is selected. Please allow 1 business day to check the order for availability and to fill the order. When the order is ready for collection, an email will be sent to the address provided. Web pickups located at our retail store at 118 Wood Street, Mackay, Queensland 4740.
Please choose carefully as we do not simply refund if you change your mind or make a wrong selection, unless the goods are faulty or not as described. Goods returned must be in their original packaging with no damage. A refund or exchange is available if the goods are faulty or significantly different from the description. Lighting Network Mackay is not responsible for the freight charges incurred from returns. Customers must organise their own shipping to our return address. Once returned, the goods will be inspected and if warranted, a refund, credit or exchange will be processed within 7 – 14 working days. Once installed, warranty on all goods is the responsibility of the supplier/manufacturer.
Pricing & Availability
All products are subject to availability and price variations. All online orders are subject to confirmation, and should an item be affected by either price or availability, Lighting Network Mackay will notify you immediately. If an order has been accepted and payment has been made, Lighting network Mackay will contact you and if the new price is unacceptable or the item is no longer available, we will gladly refund any monies paid. Whilst Lighting Network Mackay holds a large range of stock, there are times when we simply run out of a product. In this case, we will contact you and offer to place your order on back-order. Lighting Network Mackay reserves the right to accept, refuse or cancel any order.
Pictures are for visual aid only and sometimes the quality of the photograph or the colour rendition on your computer screen may not do justice to the product. If you have concerns regarding colour, application suitability, or just to confirm product specification, please contact us and we will endeavour to answer even the smallest of questions. Whilst every effort is made to accurately describe any particular item, there will be errors either from the Manufacturer or oversight human error. We apologise in this instance.
PayPal checkout allows you to either use your existing PayPal account, sign up for a PayPal account with a credit card/bank account OR use PayPal to process your credit card payment without signing up using their form. If you wish to just use a credit card in PayPal, select “Pay with a credit or debit card” and fill in the form. PayPal will process the payment securely.
Please note that Lighting Network Mackay has no access to your account or credit card details during or after a transaction. Payments are handled exclusively through PayPal’s secure gateway. Once the payment has been transferred to Lighting Network Mackay, we will begin the order process. An email will be sent to your nominated address confirming payment and order progress.
Except where otherwise provided by the Australian Consumer Law, Lighting Network Mackay shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered and consumer rights are limited to those set out in these terms and conditions. Lighting Network Mackay and Customer agree that Lighting Network Mackay will not be liable to the Customer, or to any other person whomsoever, for any incidental, indirect, loss or consequential damages, loss of revenue or profit, or anticipated profit, loss of business, loss of contracts or loss of goodwill, arising directly or indirectly in connection with any product, use or performance of such product that was purchased from Lighting Network Mackay either in store or online.
Warranty is NOT transferable. Please retain your tax invoice as proof of purchase. It is a Legal requirement that all electrical work be performed by a qualified Licensed Electrician. Failure to do so constitutes a VOID of warranty. You will be required to submit your electricians invoice when making any warranty claim.
All products (for domestic application) are covered by a minimum 12 months Manufacturer’s Warranty. All light globes/lamps/light bulbs are consumables and not covered by warranty unless otherwise stated. Manufacturer Warranty will not cover incorrect installation, normal wear and tear, aging or damage through power surges. These guarantees cannot be excluded by Australian Consumer Law.
Ceiling Fan Warranties are covered by the respective supplier. All details of same accompany the product in the box. Please fill in details and keep all relevant purchase and installation invoices. DO NOT return a faulty ceiling fan to the store as all faults must be determined by the Authorised Warranty Electrician. DO NOT un-install a ceiling fan even if it is deemed to be faulty. The Authorised Electrician will test the fan and either replace or repair same without any cost to yourself. However, if the ceiling fan is found to be wrongfully installed, you may be liable for further costs and charges.
Online purchases: Where a lighting product purchased from Lighting Network Mackay is found to be faulty, please contact us immediately and we can discuss the best solution.
- Customers may return faulty products to Lighting Network Mackay store within the warranty period for repair, replacement or refund. You will be required to submit proof of purchase and electrical certificate for installation of the product.
2. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for any major failure.
3. We reserve the right to test any returned defective product.
4. You will be required to submit a Warranty Claim Form to the relevant supplier.
5. For web customers, products must be returned to Lighting Network Mackay before any Warranty Claim can be made.
6. Should you choose to return products via shipping (Postage or Freight Company) you will be responsible for the freight costs.
7. Before attempting to return a product, you will require a request for return authorisation from Lighting Network Mackay. Please refer to our web site for contact details.
8. It may take up to 10 business days to process your return once it is received and determined faulty.
9. Where goods are listed as Clearance or end of line, they are covered by a limited warranty.
10. Special Orders:- (ie products that are not normally stocked by Lighting Network Mackay and have been requested by you and specially Ordered) are not able to be cancelled, refunded or returned.
Lighting Network Mackay is not an authorised Warranty Agent for any lighting and/or ceiling fan company. Our Products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Unless a product is labelled DIY (Do-It-Yourself), all electrical work must be performed by a licensed electrician.
