Originally a tiny shop in Juliet Street, we decided in 2005 to move to Wood Street so that we could improve and expand our existing service and range of lighting products by moving to a bigger premises. In October 2020 we have just relocated to Shop 1 & 2, 120 Sydney Street.
As a result of client loyalty, increasing patronage and a growing reputation, our business has become bigger and stronger than our initial expectations, establishing us today as a major retail domestic and commercial lighting outlet.

Steve & Teresa Crowe
Steve and Teresa Crowe (Crowe & Toad) have owned and operated Lighting Network Mackay since July 2008. It was formerly owned by Des & Carmel Crowe (Steve’s parents)for the past 25 years. Steve was born in Mackay and has lived in the area for the majority of his life. After finishing year 12 at St Patricks College in Mackay Steve completed a Trade in Heavy Earthmoving equipment repair (Diesel Mechanic) in the local area before working in the mines in Western Australia, repairing and maintaining diamond drill rigs in West and East Malaysia then returning to the coal fields in Queensland. Then after a year of working in the super yacht industry in America, Europe came home met Teresa and together purchased the family business, Lighting Network Mackay. Teresa is from Proserpine where her family owned and operated a second generation cane and cattle farm. Teresa worked a few years in banking in Proserpine and Mackay before completing a degree in Accounting and settling in Mackay working for CE Smith & Co. Steve & Teresa now have two children and have been married for over a decade. We love Mackay and the Proserpine/Whitsunday regions, and value working with the people here.
